Global
Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) in conjunction with its partner, the Caribbean
Council for Science and Technology (CCST) has been awarded funding from the Perez-Guerrero
Trust Fund for the creation of a Rainwater Harvesting Model for the Caribbean. The project which is set to run for one year will
be conducted in two phases.
The first
phase involves desktop research and an analysis of models of rainwater
harvesting throughout the Caribbean and other developing countries with a view
to determining some best practices for promotion in the Caribbean.
The second
phase is the production of an appropriate model for the region. The model will
be translated into Spanish and French and distributed throughout the Caribbean by GWP-C.
